When I think of champions, heroes or heroines, the first person who always comes to mind is my maternal grandmother.
Big Ma is what we affectionately called her. Physically, she was a tiny woman; who knows how we came up with at particular nickname. Small she may have been in stature but not when it came to character and a very big heart (of gold).
