Guaranteed to Make You Smile: LiaBug !!

How's this for a cutie?

This is darling Lia, granddaughter of Cathy over at The Voice Within.

Lia is modelling the LadyBug hat I made for her in the photo above. It's a bit big right now; Lia isn't quite a year old and hat is sized for 1-3 year olds. But I think she looks sooooooooooooooo cute, even the way it fits right now.

Stop by Cathy's blog for the link to the pattern page at Etsy too. I made a few adjustments but basically used the pattern.

I'm still limiting my time online due to my recent eye injury. My eye is almost back to normal, yippeee...it was a week ago that it happened, yesterday. Made me appreciate once again, how precious the miracle of sight is.

Have a Wonderful Weekend! :<)

Geraldine,
What a sweetie Lia is!!!
The ladybug hat is definitely adorable!
This most definitely made me smile - this hat is the nicest one of the kind I've seen.
What a lovely gift, and I'm sure Lia will enjoy wearing it!
Have a nice weekend, Ger!

It certainly was a lovely gift made of love. I finally got around to linking the etsy site. Just call me forgetful jones lol

She looks adorable even if she's sporting a scratch compliments of Chloe who felt threatened when baby tried to pat her! lol Poor baby didn't understand and poor Chloe doesn't like baby arms waving in her face! lol

Lia is so cute. I'm happy to say that I helped with making the antennae for this hat (stuffing them)it was a lot of work but turned out so well. Sure suits Lia.

Hi Brenda, I have yet to see a pic of Lia where she isn't smiling! Cathy says she's such a happy little girl, isn't that nice. I love the hat on her too.

Hi Cathy, I'm so glad you liked it and Lia too of course. Ahh..that's too bad about the kitty scratches, not noticeable in the pic. I hope she's all healed up now. I'm sure Chloe meant no harm.

Hi Joe, You were a big help with that part, they were rather hard to stuff with fiberfill, thanks!

Hi SandyL, I totally agree.

Hi Brian, Everytime I see this photo, works for me. :<)

Hi Tammie, Thanks Tammie, a Ladybug hat for a Liabug!

Happy Week to you with lots to smile about, G :<)

Hi SandyC, She is a doll, I agree. Always smiling it seems. How nice is that?

Hi Teri, Made for each other. ;<)

Hi Talon, Thanks for your kind words. My eye healed completely in about a week. It was a mess to begin with. I was sure glad when it was back to normal. A weird little accident.

Happy Week, G :<)
