A Rainy Week Haiku

We've had a week of almost non-stop rain, here in Interior BC and more to come.

I was going through some previous haiku posts over at My Poetic Path this past week and noted this one. Thought it was in keeping with the current weather and forecast too. It's one of my favs actually.

I remember taking this photo and wondering at the time if it would show up as well in a photo as the reality was. I think it did.

Hope you have a lovely week. :<)

And hope to see some of you over at One Single Impression too.

The prompt this week is: crystal. My suggestion, so I will definitely be there LOL.

Great photo, you have an eye for taking photos. This was a rather ordinary looking flower but it's beautiful here. Love the haiku too.

Hi Brenda, Thanks Brenda. As I said in the post, it's actually one of my fav photos.

Hi Sandy, I have no idea. I love the shape of it though and the delicate color.

Hi Joe, It was rather ordinary looking, I agree, in reality. Nice how it ended up much pretty or so it seems, in this photo. ;<)

Happy Week, G

Hi Lissa, I love that about rain too. Speaking of rain (again!) we had a morning filled with sunshine here and headed over to the park for July 1st activities. By the aft. though, the sky opened up and it POURED! So much for Canada Day LOL but the mall sure got busy after the rain started. ;<)

Hi Deb, I think we share the same weather patterns for the most part Deb. I'm wondering if you saw that deluge today too?

Hi SandyC, We all have our fav posts and poems don't we? I always loved this one especially when I think back to how simple and ordinary this flower looked in reality. I love how it turned out in this photo!

Happy Week and Happy July 4th to my US pals, G

It's crazy, you have had all this rain and we haven't had more than a few drops. It's almost as if the more desperate we are for it, the less likely it is to happen. Crazy weather, we've broken records for heat and humidity, we've had the warmest last 12 months in the history of recording temps. Makes you think there's something to this global warming after all.
