Word of the Week: Evolve

I'm participating over at One Single Impression today. The prompt this week is shortcut.

I loved the prompt and wrote a haiku for it.

One of the words I used in my haiku was: evolve. Another word I love.

You can see my One Single Impression post here.

As I said in my haiku, we really do evolve "all in good time" I think. There are no shortcuts.

When we try to rush things, strain against the supposed "obstacles" that come up along the way, it rarely seems to work. Struggling to speed things up, in terms of where we think we should be heading and what we should be doing.

To evolve....to continue to learn, grow and improve.

Wishing you a wonderful week on your life's journey. Namaste!

This is a great word to pick for the word of the week. To evolve...things do evolve in their own good time, not according to our schedules.

A good word Geraldine!
A reminder that there is no need to rush, or force things.
Wishing you a lovely week!

Hi Gillena, Welcome to Happy Break and thanks for tagging me. It's fun to find new blogs, via some of our regular stops along the way.

Hi Joe, Hard to accept at times but time after time, it seems to be the way it is. Usually for a reason.

Hi Brenda, It never works, does it? Not that we can just sit back and do nothing but when we've done our best, we do have to sit back and let things evolve. I'm dwelling on this word this week, especially when I feel stressed or the need for speed.

Happy Week, G

Funny , I don`t interpret this word as slowing down or of forcing things. I see it more as a progression of something or someone. Either way it applies to me especially as I evolve toward what I want my life to be.

Very apt and very timely.
