A Proverb to Ponder

" You cannot stop the birds of sadness from flying over your head, but you can stop them from nesting in your hair."

A Chinese proverb that I really like.

As always, birds can teach us so much, even indirectly.

Thanks to Sandy for the perfect nest photo!

There is a lot of truth in this proverb. We can learn a lot from many of the proverbs. I like the photo too.

This post means a lot to me because birds and my love for them have saved my life - they have lifted me out of depression and gloom many a time. An excellent proverb!
