Warming the Soul: My Version of Black Bean Soup

Brrrr....it's a chilly one, here today in Interior BC.

I just posted this recipe for my version of Black Bean Soup over at my cooking blog and thought I'd share it here too. I'm making this for supper tonight along with Cornbread Scones.

When it comes to " "nurturing" and "warming the soul" is there anything better (especially on a cold day) than a big, steaming bowl of... oh, so satisfying soup? Right up at the top of my list!!! ;<)

What's on the menu at your place this weekend?

Have a Wonderful  Week!

This does look wonderful. I love your photo as well, your soup looks so tempting.
How chilly is it there? Here our temp is hovering between -5 and +5, with no snow as such.
Have a good week!

Absolutely with bread, corn bread hihi, but I hate beans, any other soup will do, how about a chili without beans, or a cream of wild mushrooms with thick pieces of round bread that you don't cut, but just grab a handful, gosh I'm getting hungry

Hi Margie, Ohhh...it's wonderful to see a post from you again. You're granddaughter is gorgeous! Sending hugs back to you dear.

Hi Brenda, I like this photo too. And the soup tastes just as good LOL. It's about +10 most days lately but goes down to about 0 at night. I want snow!!!!

Hi Lorraine, I think this bean soup might change your mind. It is really good!!!

Happy Week, G :<)

PS: To Lorraine, I can't comment at your blog again today, no comment button. I wonder why that happens? Not the first time but only at your blog. Your photos today are gorgeous. Words too. :<)
