Word of the Week: Cool!

Seeking out cool water, shady places....has been a priority here this past week.

I'm basically useless in hot weather. Energy zapped, production down (and I LOVE being productive!)

Here's to cooler temperatures on the way soon.

I hope you enjoy this cool haiku/photo from the My Poetic Path archives.

All together now. Cooooool....... Rain dance anyone?

PS:This afternoon,  I also write this Tau-Ku poem: Black Crow. The photo was taken on a recent day at the park, while trying to "beat the heat" .  I so seldom get the opportunity to take any bird photos that made for a nice change! Glad this crow was willing to pose! LOL

Nice to participate at OSI again too. Thanks for the reminder/inspiration Teri!

Looking at this photo does make one feel cooler. Walking by the water certainly helps. Poem is excellent too. I'm glad it's getting cooler here.

Geraldine, this photo captures so well the refreshing cool water, and the shade. The words are perfect I think!
I'm glad to hear it's cooling down for you!

P.S.
How's Mr. Ched managing the heat?

I've acclimatized to the heat and humidity here in Ontario, but, I still look for the lovely cool green spaces when I'm out in it. And like Teri, I agree, too soon we'll be complaining about the cold! Great pic!

Hi Lorraine, And coooool right back at ya dear! I agree, I love a good blizzard and LOTS of snow.

Hi Joe, I'm glad it's cooling down, albeit just a bit so far.

Hi Brenda, Ched is fine, thanks for asking. He is pretty adaptable. Headbonks to your two felines there and thanks for your kind words.

Hi Teri, Give me cool any day. I am not a hot weather person. Thanks for the lovely compliment.

Hi Cathy, That's what ya gotta do, get in synch with the heat and get through it. The humidity can be really hard to take though, can't it. thanks for stopping by. Address received and prizes on the way soon.

Happy Week, G :<)

I'll need that haiku when summer hits in Australia if the summer you guys have been having is anything to go by. Whew. I am not a fan of the extreme heat. I love your photo. Seeing rocks under water is very cooling on a hot day. Lovely!
